The Salon RP
>>>Rules and Information
Information
The goal of the Salon RP is to allow RPers of all levels to observe each others' RPing and to have fun together. This site functions under the assumption that all members love to RP. We also understand that we can't expect everyone to be at an advanced level - we all had to start somewhere, whether or not we like to admit it.
The Salon RP is a free-for-all sort, allowing chars based off of any book, or even chars not based on anything at all. So feel free to bring in your chars from other RPGs whether they are wolves, dancers, wizards, or high school students. In fact, we even allow several Harry Potters to run around if they so choose, so long as their RPers understand that things could be confusing should two of them meet ^^
Magic, etc. of any variety is okay. Anything that has ever been done by an RPG is fine, and even something radically new is fine!
Rules
>>>These rules apply in The Salon RP
1. As far as characters go, the limit is three. Feel free to bring them in from other sites, even copy/paste, so long as they are your own work!
Penalty for using someone else's char: Indefinite ban on the Salon RP
2. While I understand that you may not be advanced, please try to use spell check, proper grammar, and most of all, NO chatspeak, abbreviations, or smileys IC.
3. There is a three sentence minimum, which should be fairly accomodating for beginners, but we like you to write as much as you can without doing too much.
4. Please don't try to use big words and be impressive, especially if you don't understand what they mean.
5. Please write in English, or if your character says something in another language, give a translation, either through your RPing or OOC.
6. Don't kill off anybody's character without discussing it with them and me.
7. Godmoding, powerplaying, auto-hitting, and mary-sueing=baaaad. If your char is a Mary Sue/Gary Stu and is from another site, we may or may not ask you to change him/her, but we most likely will give suggestions.
