SRHS
>>>Information, Rules, and Standards
Information
SRHS (Some Random High School) is a higher level Mini-RPG, with a rough plotline as opposed to The Salon RP's free for all. You may only join SRHS after receiving permission/the password from 'rose.
SRHS is a boarding school, but it is not particularly known for one thing or another. It is co-ed and charges a fairly high tuition, but offers financial aid to those not so well off. The school's academics and sports are good, and it has an moderately good arts program, but overall it is utterly typical. Likewise, its student body is very diverse but in a way typical in its representation of everything. SRHS has representatives of all major religions, many different ethnic backgrounds, and a fairly wide range of social statuses.
Because SRHS is a mini-RPG, there is no plot. There are also no "authority" figures such as teachers (although there might be students who end up being authority figures within the student body). Because of the absence of teachers, there are obviously no classes. All that takes place in SRHS is socializing, really.
In order to become part of SRHS, you must PM 'rose (click) with a sample of your RPing and the bio of your character. She may RP with you over PMs to ascertain that you are at the level she wants to see for SRHS. Do not be daunted by the fact that SRHS is meant to be more advanced: the expectations are not really as high as they seem, and if your request is declined the first time, feel free to keep trying!
Standards
What is expected of SRHS RPers:
>>>You need to be able to write posts at least two paragraphs long and substantial, not filled with fluff.
>>>Vivid posts are extremely helpful
>>>Good grammar is a must, and lack of misspelled words or typos is very helpful as well.
>>>You must be able to create a good character and stick to what you have created.
Rules
1. Two paragraph minimum unless with good reason (not enough material, have to leave and will edit, etc.) I'd say 75-100 words per paragraph would be a nice length, making it about 150-200 words total. The more you write the better, so long as it isn't rambling fluff.
2. I expect good RPing, meaning no "perfect" chars, no godmoding, auto-hitting, or powerplaying (I shouldn't even have to say this).
3. Be realistic. These are high school students, and they will not kill each other. Not all of them are going to be virtuous and "pure," but seriously: it's hard to kill. Some might be capable of it, but overall killing=rarer and you may NOT kill someone's character unless you have discussed it with that person and 'rose
Penalty for breaking this rule is an indefinite ban from SRHS
4. Five character limit
5. If your character is foreign or says something in a foreign language, please include a translation or a link to an online dictionary.
6. Need I say good spelling and grammar and as few typos as possible?
7. Please keep content to around PG-13, or make a note in the title of the thread.
8. 1 place per character at a time.
I think I dealt with everything. If I'm missing something, feel free to contact me over PM (username: admin)
